Okay, so we all know that you can tether the internet from your activated phone to any computer. But what if you have a desktop and want internet, and do not have an activated android phone? Well let me help. (This will also tell you how to tether the internet from your phone to any computer for free.) *In the USA you have to pay more if you want to tether internet*
What you need:
*An Android cell phone.
*A USB Android cable. (Micro USB)
*2 downloads. (Files in the following steps)
*SD card in your android phone.
Step 1. Go to your android settings>Developer Options>Enable USB debugging.
Step 2. Go to your android settings>Security>Enable Unknown Sources.
Step 3. Download the .apk for PDA NET (Full version) here: http://www.fileswap.com/dl/5Z8aBlbxos/
(Plug in your android phone, and drag this to your sd card. Use a file manager app on your phone and locate the app, install it.)
Step 4. Download .EXE file and install in on your pc or linux machine: http://www.fileswap.com/dl/9StDsh7YMi/
(Just run the install, and allow everything.)
Step 5. Open the app PDA NET on your android phone, enable "Activate USB Tether".
Setp 6. On windows you're going to go to the lower left hand of the screen (On the toolbar) and click the PDA NET icon and connect!
